Our Work - Information for Grant Seekers
The PSF awards the majority of its grants to non-stock, non-profit organizations, foundations and other tax-exempt organizations. Currently, we do not award grants or sponsorships to individuals.
In deciding how to invest our resources most responsibly, we prefer projects that:
- are in line with our areas of focus: microfinance, education, sports, juvenile rehabilitation, poverty alleviation, disaster risk management, and arts;
- favor sustainable, empowering and preventive approaches;
- exhibit counterpart equity investment;
- show collaborative partnerships with philanthropic, private sector and non-profit organizations;
- produce measurable results within a specified timeline; and,
- leverage on support from the community and other partners.
Projects in communities where PLDT, Smart and other members of the PLDT group of companies (collectively the "PLDT Group") have a presence and those that can utilize the existing technologies and resources of the PLDT group will also be given preference.
The PSF receives hundreds of proposals every year and may not be able to accommodate all inquiries. To help us evaluate your proposal, please email us or send us the following:
- Cover letter introducing your organization and grant proposal
- Brief summary of your proposed project with objectives
- Profile of beneficiaries
- Profile of partners (community or other non-profit organization)
- Brief summary of plan for implementation
- Timeline of project milestones
- Budget for the project
Please also indicate whether your organization is certified by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) or other duly authorized accrediting entities.
